The St. Elizabeth Springarama Church Fair is a tradition that my mom helped to begin back in 1981 when I was in 5th grade. I remember how exciting it was to see our church parking lot transform into a carnival atmosphere! The giddiness of the spinning ride with friends, the delicious smell of the donuts, everyone laughing and enjoying a nice spring evening… it is imbedded in my childhood memories. Now I take my daughters here to enjoy the same experience every year. They love it just as much as I did! It’s a reminder of enjoying the simple pleasures in life. You don’t need to some exotic place and spend tons of money to have a great time! Right down the street are wonderful, happy experiences just waiting to be had.
